This blog is dedicated to the Automotive and Energy Research Industrial Mentorship (AERIM) program for Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF) at Oakland University. The project that has been assigned is on Edge Crack Characterization Using Digital Image Correlation for Aluminum Alloy advised by Dr. Lianxiang Yang. The research team consists of Lisa Branchick, a senior Mechanical Engineering student at Oakland University (OU) and Emily Duan, a sophomore Mechanical Engineering student at University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC).
